FAQ

Why does Botoplace have two types of protocol?

Because there are two types of wrinkles: dynamic and static. Dynamic forehead wrinkles are those that show during a movement or facial expression but then go away afterward. As our skin ages, it gradually loses elasticity through repeated, day-to-day muscle movement – squinting, showing surprise, and simply enjoying life through expression – this leads to static lines.

Static forehead wrinkles are those that remain even when the face is at rest. They are a result of dynamic lines left untreated, leading to collagen breakdown in the skin. Other primary contributors to static wrinkles include sun exposure, genetics, a poor diet, and smoking.

In Botoplace, we have an exclusive treatment for both types of wrinkles: dynamics and statics, for all three FDA-approved areas of the face: glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet. The difference is the quantity that each type of wrinkle requires. For the preventive protocol, when most of your wrinkles are dynamic and you need fewer units, the flat price for a session is $ 349. For the treatment protocol, when most of your lines are static and you need more units, the flat price for a session is $ 449. No surprises, no added expenses.

Can everybody get Botox?

Pregnant, lactating, and people with significant neurologic diseases or allergies to the toxin ingredients should not get any Botox treatment.

Why are we Flat Fee?

At Botoplace, transparency is our huge compromise. Some providers rely on pricing botox per unit, which can be worrisome as it tends to leave clients not knowing how much treatment will cost until it comes time to pay. We’re doing it differently. We’ve built botox service around a flat price per session, including applications in three FDA-approved areas: glabella, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.

What does a botulinum toxin treatment feel like?

Botulinum toxin treatments are quick with minimal discomfort. The treatment requires no anesthesia or recovery time. Many people get botulinum toxin during their lunch hours and can return to work right after their appointment.

How does botulinum toxin work?

Botulinum toxin type A is a neuromodulator that is injected into targeted treatment areas using an ultra-fine needle. Once injected, the neuromodulator relaxes the muscles and decreases their movement to reduce the appearance of lines or wrinkles in the area. You will see your results gradually over 3-10 days following injection.

How long does botulinum toxin last?

Botulinum toxin lasts up to 4 months for moderate to severe frown lines. It’s not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment the moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines will gradually return.

Are there side effects?

Side effects from a botulinum toxin treatment may include bruising, swelling, redness, or tenderness around the injection site, all of which will resolve without intervention after a few days to a week.
